North Shore-LIJ Health System has brought together the orthopedic programs of each of its hospitals to form The Institute for Orthopedic Science.  The Institute has been designed to provide state-of-the-art, multidisciplinary orthopedic care to help patients regain mobility and return to active, independent lives.

The Institute provides comprehensive care in the treatment of the entire spectrum of musculoskeletal disorders along a complete continuum of care, from diagnosis to surgery to rehabilitation.
